(Closed) Help-Did I make a mistake when altering my dress before trying on with slip?

Can you have the slip shortened?  If you don’t mind seeing your shoes it’s not a big deal, but the slip may show.  I did the SAME thing for my first wedding, and my slip shows in all the pictures of us on the alter Frown.  I think if I had cut the bottom off of the slip (or shortned it however they do that LOL) it wouldn’t have showed as much…if that makes sense?

It depends on the slip but some can take 2″ up on your dress making it very short. I think at this point you will have to wait for your slip to get to you and try it on. If you decide you really need the slip you might have to get lower heels. Sorry but maybe you can find the best of both worlds! Good luck!!
