If you decide to change your mind, is there a time limit you have to reconsider your purchase?  Even if you decide to stay with the same dress, maybe you can revoke your payment just so you have more time for piece of mind?  Good luck!  They are both gorgeous dresses.  I love the one you purchased on you, and I hope you love whatever you decide 🙂

I think the fit and flare looks much more flattering on you. I think you made the right choice!

The dress you picked looks incredible on you while the ball gown is not a wow dress. You chose the right one!

My heart goes out to you for how tough a decision this can be. I went through the exact same thing as you, and my biggest piece of advice would be to trust your gut! If it doesn’t feel right, then it might not be, and you should go look more.

Did you buy a specific dress and take it home with you, or did you order one? Maybe look into the return policy? If you ordered it, you likely would still be able to cancel it.

For a little background, I felt so torn between a couple of different dresses, but ended up forcing myself to pick one and orderit. A few weeks later, I really started to question it, and realized that the reason I had such a hard time choosing in the first place was because neither of them was right. I ended up going back to several more dress shops, tried on a gazillion more dresses, and tried on the same dresses over and over again, until I found what felt right. In the end, I ordered a 2nd wedding dress. It was exhausting and not fun. I ended up losing the 50% deposit I paid on the original dress because it was too late to cancel it. Luckilly I bought my second dress from the same store as the 1st, so they gave me a 30% discount.

So, consider going back to another shop to two right away and trying on more dresses, and really try to decide what feels right for you. But do this before it is to late! Like most of the other commenters here, I think the fit and flare looks absolutely beautiful on you! BUT if that isn’t what you want and it doesn’t feel right, that’s what ultimately matters. In my opinion, the ballgown dress looks a little heavy on you, but there are a million different ballgowns out there, and maybe you would be able to find one that suits you a little better (I seriously considered that same ballgown myself). Have you considered an A-line? It might have a similar feel as a ball-gown, but be a little softer. Good luck!

mari713:  Hey lady! I feel for you! I am a total ball gown gal and actually did try on the ballgown you posted. It’s superb. All my friends wanted to see me in a fit and flare. I thought I did look good, but at the end of the day the ballgown made me excited to wear. So I ended up purchasing a ballgown. Why? Because every time I had on the fit and flare my emotions were very underwhelmed. But ib the ballgown I was super happy and spunky. So that’s what I’ll suggest, go with which ever makes you giddy with joy. I think the dress you picked looks great if you’re worried about appearances. You have a great figure for it. That being said as long as you feel special in your pick on your day is what matters.

I love both. You look amazing in your dress, but I am partial to a ballgown. Ultimately no one else can tell you which one to pick 🙁 that’s because it’s so personal and more about how it makes you feel.

You must have felt more beautiful in the first one to have picked it over the ballgown so if you are set on a ballgown I would try other ones on rather than going back to this one!
