I’m a ballgown girl myself, so I prefer the ballgown. That being said the dress you picked looks gorgeous on you! You can’t go wrong either way.

mari713: Oh my life! Your dress totally, love it and it’s perfect on you. The lace and shape of it is so beautiful and very much suits your figure. You so made the right choice and was in the right place at the right time for sure! Stick with it, the fit and flare definitely suits you.

mari713:  They both look lovely on you.  I chose ballgown, but I don’t actually like fit/flare at all, pretty much ever, so it’s a pretty biased opinion.  I don’t think you can go wrong either way.

You might want to consider the practicalities of each.  Ballgown will be heavier.  Both look challenging in a bathroom.  How well can you move your legs in the fit/flare for dancing or whatever else you want to do?  Is one more comfortable against your skin? Easier to breathe in?  Things like that can really matter and are easy to look over in a fitting room vs. wearing the dress for 8 hours.

mari713:  Your dress #1. Because it’s #1! Great choice and it flatters your figure.
