@miss tortuga:  You look gorgeous in the dress! And it is a beautiful dress! You made the right choice. And I wouldn’t compare yourself to a model wearing the same dress! It looks so much better on a real person with some curves!

I think you look better in the dress than the model does! If you’re worried about the bottom part, you could always look into getting a crinoline that makes it stand out a little more/makes it a little poufier.

I think it looks beautiful on you! Same thing happened when I went shopping, i was looking for a flowy, loose fitting chiffon number and ended up buying a lace mermaid, because it is what suited me better! I think that dress looks gorgeous on you and don’t ever forget why you bought it in the first place, because it looks AH mazing! Of course models and professional photos of brides are going to look beautiful in a variety of gowns. YOU are going to look fabulous on your wedding day.

It is gorgeous. I’m really struggling to understand why you wouldn’t love it.

And yes to the shawl, though I think a bolero would be even better with a sweeheart neckline, as it would create a portrait neckline effect.

Fur or feathers would be lovely.

I think you just need a bigger hoop or crinoline
