I’m trying to make my own lace invitations. I have already bought the pocketfold invitations from cardsandpockets.com and I also already bought the lace. I want the invitation to look like the one below where the lace is actually adhered to the invitation and the ribbon is just wrapped aro
What adhesive should I use so the lace does not turn color and stays put without bumps and glue seaping through that you can see?
Thank you thank you thank you!!

@Amelia2014: Your picture didn’t upload – but I’d say a spray adhesive from the craft store. Spray it directly onto the lace and then apply to the pocketfold.

Have you tried modpodge? I modpodged lace to a cardboard box to make my cardbox and it looks awesome. They have a lot of finishes (matte, shiny, glitter, etc.) that you could pick from.

Archival quality double sided tape. Buy a tape runner in the scrapbook section. Anything white glue based will yellow over time (e.g., tacky glue/school glue/modepodge).
The tape runner comes in dots, strips, or continuous runs. Any will work but I personally prefer the strips or continuous. Run it along the both outside (long) edges of the lace and then place the lace on the cardstock.

Amelia2014: glue dots is what we used and it worked like a charm! Velum tape is also a good product! We used Stampin Up products !
