So, i saved about $120 just doing the traditional white pocketfold out of 12×12 white cardstock paper(i have already finished) but, i have 2 issues..
im trying to keep this all budget friendly! 🙂
1.) I cant figure out what stationary to use (i.e. colors, and prints)
my colors are light pink and grey and i want a light classy invite. The paper is white so i was thinking maybe a light grey paper for the actual invitation sheet and rsvp , with a light pink band around the whole invite.
please let me know what color schemes you think would look good, and links
2.) If anyone else knows of a different adhesive than 2 sided tape to hold the pocket attatched. Personally, i think the 2 sided tape comes up easy
Tell me what adhesive you used for your pocketfolds!!
Thanks ladies 🙂

sorry, forgot to tell you that it is a southern classy themed wedding.

It’s hard to tell without seeing your invites, but I always liked dove gray and light pink together.

@mlford0531: It might be easier to read the information on the invitation if the paper is cream, with grey font if you want the invitation to be light in color. If you use grey paper, you will end up using black font which is fine but sounds darker than the look you’re going for.
As far as adhesive goes, I bought “glue dots” to glue my invites to the pocketfolds. You can buy them at craft stores.

did the glue dots come up easy, or are they raised or just flat?
