That’s definitely a lot of pearls at the bottom.  What if you did your top-of-the-head idea and just put a scattering towards the bottom edge?

I don’t know it looks really pretty. Can we see it on? Is it possible to remove them without ruining it? Or would you buy more?

nagatzuna :  Perhaps you should cut your losses at this point and buy one. Etsy has so many beautiful options, and many at great prices, I’m sure you’ll find at least one that will work for you.

Have you checked etsy or amazon? The veils are pretty affordable there

I love the look and think that it will look great in pics.  Be sure to try it on so that you can get a sense of the weight.  Most brides wear their veil during the ceremony and remove it for the reception, so I wouldn’t worry too much about weight because you won’t have it on for very long.  Very nice job!  I tried to DIY my veil at first and it turned out to be a disaster – I started with fabric, which was a mistake.  I had to be rescued at the last minute by a friend who sews.  Your DIY veil looks WAY better than mine!

I really like it! Plus it’s good to add some weight. There was so much wind on our wedding day my veil never stayed in place. I think we have 2 pictures with it being perfectly positioned.

I love your veil. I would get more pearls and scatter them through out but i wouldn’t touch the bottom of your veil

nagatzuna :  If it won’t be uncomfortable for you to wear (and you said it won’t), I actually think that it’s good that there is some weight to keep the veil positioned and in place. I’ve been to a few weddings where the wind is blowing the veil around all over the place. Anything you add to the bottom will add weight and help keep it in place.

I really love the look of the pearls at the bottom of the veil. I wouldn’t change it one bit.
