I was wondering if you know if setting up long banquet tables takes up less space than individual rectangular tables. I know round tables need about 10-12 square feet per person and rectangular tables need 9-10 square feet per person. But what about long long tables like this pic below!? Does this take up less space?

They take up less space than separate rectangular banuet tables because there is no empty space left between the ends of the tables for a cross aisle. It can however be a bit of a nuisance for people to make their way out of the table to go to the washroom for example. It depends on how long the long table ends up being.

Right good point. Do you have a sense of how many square feet per person seated that way takes up? like maybe 6 sq ft?
