Hi There Bess,
I’m getting married in Australia in March and I really want this as my cake topper…
I’ve tried different seller’s on Etsy but I keep getting “Sorry love, not taking any new orders” and I’m really upset about it. I’ve spent months looking for something that was a little different that would fit our wedding style and couldnt find anything so I did this up (albeit in “Paint” because I am not the most tech savvy Bee! haha). I was really happy with this simple design and Mr even liked it too (we don’t agree on many elements of the wedding!).
I thought this would be a fairly simple thing to cut from plastic etc. But no one wants to do it 🙁
Can anyone recommend a seller? Artist?

Would you consider metal? If you do, Call around to metal shops in your area or ask metal workers on etsy. It’s a slow time of year for them so one of them should be able to do it. Tell them you want it out of surgical or food grade stainless and you want it polished. Shouldn’t cost that much.

@excitedtobeMRSF: 🙂 Thanks. Miss Sarah was the first Seller I actually tried because I just love her stuff! 🙂 But unfortunately a lot of other people love her work too so she is not taking any new custom orders at the moment. But thank you for you suggestion 🙂
@tksjewelry: I had thought about metal. It isn’t really what we are after for the “look” of the wedding but I may have to consider it if I can’t find anyone soon. I live in a mining area so there isn’t a real ‘quite’ time for metal works around here but Mr would surely know someone who could do it through work if needed – this is something I hadn’t considered until you mentioned it. If I can’t get the plastic then maybe I’ll go that way – thanks 🙂

@Excited2BeeMrs: another idea, do you have a ceramic shop in your area? That could easily be made of clay, fired, painted, and fired again. Some shops even let you do it yourself.
