What kind of flowers are you using? My first instinct would be wire and floral tape, but whether they have much of a stem or not will make a difference,

NOt really sure how you would do it.. But I have a suggestion.. Take your branches to a florist and tell them you were thinking of using them.. But ask Them if its possible to do.. act really clueless and make them explain exactly how they would do it.. ,lol..good luck!

I have used hot glue. but it was done the same day as the event. Do you have someone who would take on this task for you?

I featured a wedding on my blog last week that had Manzanita branches decorated with flowers, and it appears as though the florist bundled small handfuls of flowers together with a wire of some kind.  Then, attached the flowers by wrapping the excess wire around the branches.

Here’s the best photo I could find in my files…but as you can see, it doesn’t seem like glue would hold more than a small flower or two in one concentrated area.

I’ve only really seen floral wire used.  It comes in different gauges (thicknesses) and you can usually find it anywhere in silver or green, but I’ve seen other colors online.

I’ve seen floral wire, but it depends on your flower.  Certain ones need water or they wilt so you have to attach floral tubes as well.

Nettelton hollow has some good tips on their blog-including the superglue route-but those were on silk flowers.

They actually make a floral glue that is made for fresh flowers.  I would use that instead of hot glue.
