MrsMellyBean : it was 111 days, then 18, then 30 days. She’s a regular doc and this is my 2nd cycle temping. Last cycle my temps were all over the place. This cycle my temps seemed more normal.

tommywantwingy : That’s good that your temps seem to be less erratic! Maybe your doc will refer you to an OBGYN who has more experience dealing with cycles and TTC. Best of luck!!

tommywantwingy : you should be referred to a RE specialist, not just an ob gyn. Ob gyns aren’t specialized in fertility related issues.

chocochai : true but she hasn’t been trying for a year yet and there’s no clear indication that there are infertility issues at play just yet. Unless she’s over 35, then may as well skip the in between step 😊. A gynae would still have extensive knowledge on periods, could request bloodwork, and prescribe clomid/femara if it was suspected OP wasn’t Oing.

MrsMellyBean : true. Thanks. I saw her erratic cycles that she posted in the comment at the top of the page and made some assumptions.

MrsMellyBean : chocochai : no worries. I just turned 29 and have been off BC for 6 months. I was on it for about 13 years. I’m gonna gonna continue to temp and be patient for now 😊

tommywantwingy : That’s a great plan, no need to worry just yet :).
chocochai : Haha I’m exactly the same way usually, my mind usually jumps right to PCOS when I see a few wonky temps but I think that’s just because that was my personal experience. A lot of times it’s just a random anovulatory cycle or random one-off.
