(Closed) Help downloading Fonts to a PC

I can’t remember exactly what you need to do but I know that the font has to go into the Fonts folder on the Control Panel.  I will look to see if I can find more detailed instructions.

For Microsoft Office, including Word, to acknowledge new fonts you have to add them to the Windows “Font” folder.

To do that you need to open your “My Computer” folder, then open your C drive, then Windows folder and finally Fonts. Technically the address should be C:WINDOWSFonts

When you are in the Fonts folder, click on “Install New Font…” under the File tab. A new “Add Fonts” Window will pop up. You will have to locate the font you saved on your desktop and select it. Once selected click OK.

Now go to your Word Document, you should be able to locate the new font in the font drop down list and use it!
