I’m really loving the Mori Lee on you! It looks gorgeous! My advice: don’t go try the other dress on! I am having dress regret too and refuse to even look at other dresses right now. You look beautiful in the Mori Lee and you have already paid half so I say keep it! ๐Ÿ™‚

i, too, think the original one is gorgeous and flattering…

but if you do want the new one, i wouldn’t go with a knock-off because i think you’d be disappointed in the way the chinese one’s ruffles lay… it’s hard to find a good ruffle on those things… i’ve seen great work from jasmine’s and also dressily me, if you do decide to go that route…

100% honest opinion: That Mori Lee looks great on you! And it’s ordered, you know what it’s going to look like — there’s no question about the quality and feel.

The Martina is a maybe… you maybe know what it’s going to look like when you get it from the Chinese maker, you maybe will love it, lots of maybes.

Also, August is HOT. I am also doing August and chose a dress that wouldn’t “make it rain” sweat down my legs. Keeping that in mind, the Mori Lee is an all around hit, IMO.

Don’t go the knockoff route.  ๐Ÿ™‚  It all depends on how much you love the new dress and if it’s worth your time and trouble to find and purchase it and sell your current dress.

I’ll admit, the dress you posted is absolutely gorgeous and I can see why it would cause some dress regret. Try it on before you make any decisions. I ended up selling my first dress and buying a new one, and after I did so was 100% happy and never looked back or doubted again. Only purchase a new dress if you are 100% sure and completely in love with it! And definitely don’t go the knockoff route, I’d get it used before doing that, a knockoff is NOT going to do that dress justice.

I tried on the Martina. I found that on me it made me look thick ( I am a slim build) the way itcrosses in the front is not very flattering. Keep the Mori Lee!!

Hey KarenA… I bought Martina 340 and it actually just came in this past week. It took 8 months to come in so if you do plan to order I would do it soon. The dress is beautiful but as nycbrde2011 said it can make you look thicker than you are. I am currently battling that and the fact that it is too short on me when I wear my slip. I am pretty tall though and I REALLY wanted a slip to make it more full at the bottom, so don’t worry about that. I think the dress you own is very flattering on you so definitely try on the martina before you make a decision to sell. If you have any specific dress questions feel free to send me a message.

lol sorry KarenA. Weddingbee can be a great thing, but it also can fuel dress regret. I think you would be perfectly fine length wise. I have actually been playing around with my slip and I cut it back a bunch and it seems to be OK right now. I will just have to pay attention that it doesnt ride up. I am also hoping that a seamstress can somehow fix the bodice and not make me feel so bulky. When I got the dress and initially freaked out bc of the length, I thought I needed to find a new dress but with only 97 days left till my wedding I dont think its going to be an option. So for now I am keeping my fingers crossed! You will have to give me an update on how you like the Martina!

I think the Mori Lee looks gorgeous on you. If you’re prepared to buy another dress though, go try the one you love on. Who knows, maybe you won’t like the way it looks on you and love your original even more?
