So, here’s the dealio! I bought a dress a few months ago and it’sdue to come in March. Since then, I’ve realized that I should’ve gone with the more expensive gown that I fell in love with initially…. Obviously bridal salons don’t do returns… But since its still months before the dress is to come in, is there a chance an order can be canceled? Do they ever do that? Is my only option to wait for the dress to come in and then try to sell it to get part of the money back?? 🙁

@alliegor: The only thing you can do is call the salon and ask. Do they also sell the more expensive dress you want? That might give you a bit more leverage for an exchange or applying your deposit to that dress if production hasn’t started yet.

I would recommend that you call and check on if you can cancel the order sooner than later. If it hasnt shipped they might be able to cancel it.
Look on websites, ebay, craigs list at all the wedding dresses that are for sale. There are a ton and selling it might be difficult,

Call immediately and find out what their policy is and if you can get some sway because the dress isn’t in yet.
