HELP, dress shopping is soooo hard! Opinions Please
I went shopping for dresses today and it was so tiring. By the end I started getting frustrated because everything was looking the same. I have I fairly large chest but no hips. I feel box-ish in most things because of my lack of hips/curves. Many of the dresses I thought I would like, were just blah. So here are the 3 I felt the best in.
chiffon ball gown – I have no clue who makes this dress, if anyone does please let me know. I would love to find a stock photo of it.
Tulle Ball Gown – Davids Bridal. In my pic we added extra tulle to the neck line for “modesty”
One Shoulder Tulle Ball Gown – Davids Bridal. The skirt is fluffed out funny here so maybe look at the stock photo as well.

I love the first one on you. It definitely gives you an hourglass look and makes your waist look tiny.

@Nel13: oh goody we get to choose between ballgown,I love those.
Not a fan of one shoulder, but #3 is an attractive versiou on that style, probably because it is subtle.
#2 is pretty and nice and traditional and sort of expected. In this photo it is not wow. You look sweet in it.
#1 is WOW. It is elegant and formal and sparkly bridal.

@Nel13: wow i usually do not care for the one shoulder but that dress is stunning on you.

@Nel13: Do you want a ball gown ? Have you tried other styles ? I’m petite/& short & I am busty with no hips or bootay … I thought I wanted a ball gown forever – or like an A-line dress. When the girl offered me to try on a mermaid – or as some people call it a trumphet I was like no .. But I tried it on and it was the dress I bought it gave me hips and a good figure .. But if you absolutely know you want a ball gown than keep looking – when you know you know – once you have tried on that dress you won’t have to try another one on if you’re so torn on these 3 they are probably not the dress ! Sometimes you just got to go home & go back another day !

I don’t like the shoulder thing on number 3 or else I would have voted for that. Number 2 it is.

I voted for number 2 because it looked the most classic, but I think number 3 is really flattering, if you prefer the more fashionable style! I am a bridal consultant, and when people can’t decide between dresses we usually ask which gown accentuates their favorite features the best, which gown they think is the best reflection of who they are and where they are in their lives right now (i.e. which will you like seeing in photos!), and which one you think your fiance will like the best. I am not such a big fan of the third question, because I think all brides’ fiances will think they look gorgeous on their wedding day, no matter what they’re wearing! But maybe that’ll help you look at the dresses in a different light. Think about which one fits the “style” of wedding you want and your venue as well!

I love the first one on you!! 😀

I picked the second. The first is close behind tho. I think #2 is a bit softer which is why I chose it.

I am still having a really hard time. I might just start over and have to go out to a few more stores

@Nel13: Take your time! 🙂 Relax, and have fun!

No. 2 for sure. Very classic and incredibly flattering on you.

I like number 1 best not sure what it is but I know that Alfred Angelo 2300 is similar but with lace detail on the bottom and I think you would look great in it if you want to give it a go.

I voted for the second dress. It looks beautiful on you.
