Hey! I posted a lot of pictures of wedding dresses with sleeves on another post. There are actually quite a few gowns out there that have sleeves, but it takes a long long time to weed through all of them. If you’re looking for more long sleeve ones, look at the designers that were listed with the pictures. Many of them have long sleeved dresses. About half of the dresses were regency style though, since that was what the poster was looking for. In addition, San Patrick, Pronovias, Rosa Clara, La Sposa all have long sleeve lace dresses.

Vintage Style Lace Dresses Under 2000? Any suggestions??

Remember that you can always add a jacket with sleeves over many strapless dresses.

I also second the idea of a bolero to go with your dress if you cannot find one with sleeves. Here are some that i like on Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/listing/86978547/navy-blue-34-sleeve-satin-wedding-bolero?ref=af_you_favitem. Consider talking to a local seamstress to see about having a jacket custom made for you (cheaper that you would think) or having sleeves added to the dress. Davids bridal will do that in their alterations department and you can see examples of it on their website under Sleeve and coverage options: http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Long-sleeve-with-beaded-floral-motif.-LS1_Bridal-Gowns-Personalize-Your-Look-Sleeves-Coverage-Options. Though, again i would look for a local seamstress to add sleeves to your gown. It will be cheaper, quicker, and more customizable.

I had a jecket made for my dress that could be removable! I loved it!!! Except I found it hard to move my arms in it so I took it off for the dance – I was hot anyhow dancing.

That jacket is gorgeous. I’ve been eyeing a similar one in the David Tutera Mon Cheri collection:

you can buy the jacket separately.  I like that it buttons in the back so it looks more like it’s actually part of the dress.

I needed to have sleeves too just because I find them infinately more romantic.  Unfortunately if you are a plus size bride (Anything over a 10) then your choices are already limited!  So I just had cap-sleeves added to my Maggie Sottero Geneva and the first time I saw them I cried because it was exactly how i invisioned!
