I have this mini-chandelier centerpiece that I wanted to use with votives, mirror, and possibly something else. Any ideas you all have would be great!
This is what I have so far: the minichandelier piece on a square (12×12) mirror, the mirror is on a silver centerpiece cloth (basically a plain silver square about 22×22), and all of this is on a dark purple tablecloth. There will be white napkins & favors (these will have transparent boxes – I could add silver/purple ribbon?). There are no plates since it’s a buffet, but there will be the usual place setting with cutlery. I was thinking about 4-5 votives on the table as well. Do I need crystals/petals scattered? Do I need anything else?
(the chairs have covers that are white and sashes that match the purple tablecloth)
Here’s the centerpiece:

It needs something at the bottom but I am not sure what and maybe a splash of color.

hm… should I make the votives colored somehow? Add scatter that’s colored? Maybe ditch the silver overlay under the mirror? What else could I put on the bottom? Not sure if this makes a difference, but the venue is sort of an indoor courtyard type thing, so it has a bit of a garden feel with a lot of plants, etc. around.

Rose petals piled around the bottom of them.

I like the idea of petals and or flowers scattered around the bottom. Maybe even those purple/fucsia orchids. If you use colored flowers/petals I don’t think you would need to color the votives 🙂

I would add color by covering the base with pettles or a ring of flowers.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I just ordered some petals to try it out.
