Like the title says, I have lower HCG levels than were expected for 4 weeks, so my Dr sent me for a second batch of bloodwork. I won’t get the results for 48 hours.
Best case scenario, I ovulated later than I thought (totally possible), and I’m still pregnant and everything is going as it should, I’m just a week(ish) behind where I thought I was.
I’m hoping that some of you have some best case stories that are similar, and would be willing to share to help me stress less until I find out tomorrow.

hCG can really vary pregnancy to pregnancy. What caused them to test it in the first place? Was the test to confirm your pregnancy quantitative instead of qualitative?

I was tested in my fifth week and had levels that were normal for 3-4 weeks, according to one of the nurses. They were 337 and then 833 48 hours later. The important thing was that they doubled. About a week & a half later the number was all the way up to 28,660.
Did your your levels double in your last betas? I’m now 9 weeks along and have seen the heartbeat twice at 7 and 8 weeks.

My urine levels were “inconclusive”, yet I pee’d on both digital and pink lines FRER. They sent me for initial blood work to confirm after the urine test. I mentioned a tiny bit of spotting, so my Dr. is sent me for U/S and another blood hCG to confirm doubling.

Gotcha. Yeah, it’s counterintuitive, but those urine tests at the doctor can be less sensitive than some HPTs. Chances are, you conceived later than you thought you did. Some spotting is not uncommon in early pregnancy, especially this early. I know how easy it is to get concerned, though.

I don’t have advice because my doctor won’t even see me for my initial visit until I’m 9 weeks. No urine, blood test, or anything before then. I wish I had betas! Wishing you luck, though…I know its hard not to worry.

My levels were 32. This was at about 4 weeks. I would not worry if nothing else is happening. I am currently 11 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby. Remember, 32. I was freaked, but levels vary so much with everyone! I did not bother with another beta though. And a few days later, I tested 3+ on a clear blue weeks estimator. Don’t let this worry you!

My dr said just yesterday that 1 HCG # doesn’t mean anything. You need 2 weeks to show an increase and/or trend. As DomesticDiva:
said, these numbers can vary pregnancy to pregnancy. But ultimately 1 week doesn’t show you anything, it’s the overall trend.
