I think one persons idea of good enough and another s differ so much that reviews do not always reflect the truth.
If you decide to use the silk flowers – maybe you can get some real pink gerbera daises and insert them. They are very hardy and sturdy flowers.

If you payed with credit or paypal you can get a chargeback. You can fill out the form online. All you’ll need to do is fill out a form (either online or sending it in) and your bank will refund you the entire purchase. They might even refund the total right away after a simple phone call. if the seller disputes it, just file teh form again. Legally there is very little they can do to fight this. My best friend works in fraud. She said the company couldn’t do anything in case of a double chargeback”. I was once refunded 500 dollars on the phone because at my friend bachelorette party, I spotted her for a couple cases of wine and then the company start charging me a 500 dollar subscription fee. I just called chase customer service, explained the situation (though OBVIOUSLY with a bias in my favor) and got the charge refunded during the phone call.
In terms of flowers, check your local grocery store. My SIL did hers from wegmans and they turned out GORG. You never know, and you’ll probably get a good price.

So after literally 24 EMAILS between each other and dozens of pictures I sent, this utterly terrible seller agreed, at my suggestion:
To send replacement daises (that I’ll have to have someone fix, my auntie volunteered luckily).
She’s going to re-do all of the 12 boutineers and 5 corsages that were sent with the wrong ribbons (17 items sent to me straight up WRONG – NOT a matter of opinion of quality – a matter of documented fact in my order). I asked her for a refund for the total of the 17 pieces she did incorrectly and she was appalled at the idea. I cannot express how petty and unprofessional this business is! I just said – fine – “Please send the corrected 17 pieces and the replacement daisies and a photograph before they are shipped. If you can provide me a $40 refund as a good will gesture I would appreciate it.”
She agreed. Fine. I’m so over this. Honestly this is the solution that’s going to have to work because I can’t take off work to order flowers locally and spending tons of time to research and buy online just isn’t going to be time well spent. Just cut my losses as someone upthread said!
I will most certainly leave a review with pictures and if possible full text of the convo on any site where reviews are able to be posted! I would hate to see one more bride going through such a mess two weeks before her wedding. Unbelievable. Truly.
One more thing – She needs the 17 incorrect pieces postmarked back BEFORE May 1 – since I let her know I would send them after the wedding in case for some reason we don’t receive the corrected ones and there are 17 people including parents and grandparents of the bride and groom without flowers – and she told me that wouldn’t work – she could not give me a measly $40 refund without them in her possession! What a pathetic, petty person. But if she needs her lollipop boutineers back that DESPERATELY, whatever.
Thanks for for the advice and for listening everyone! My sister trusts my judgement and this is just how it’s going to be because I just can’t take work off to deal with this or deal with it while at work. And most importantly, deal a moment more with such an idiotic wedding flower supplier that doesn’t see the problem or care to take responsibility for her mistske nor take immediate action to fix it. I got unlucky in using her, I have never had any remote sort of problem with any item I’ve ordered from the entire internet – and I shop online for the majority of my clothes, household items, and even furniture!
Oh well… luckily I love to write because there will be plenty of letters to send to the Better Business Bureus’ in my state and hers as well as the consumer affair departments of the State Attorney General’s Office in both New Mexico and California 😉

I don’t understand why you would have to take time off work to order real florals?
If this was a situation I was facing, I would absolutely contact a local florist and have them do the entire order. There is no point in wasting anymore time with this Etsy seller. There is a chance the replacement pieces might look just as bad or worse than what you’ve received.

Sorry you are going through this. The flowers don’t look as bad as you think. I also ordered my wedding flowers from Lily of Angeles and had a totally different experience. My flowers were custom ordered 17 pieces and had to be delivered to Canada. I can’t say but great things about the quality of work I received. My fiancé was very sceptical of ordering online, but I shop online all the time, I researched and read all reviews from different sites and was completely satisfied with putting my trust in Lily to receive the product I had invisioned. The picture of my flowers is one of the bridesmaids bouquets, grooms boutineer, other boutineer and wrist corsage

Those do look very nice! I shop online all of the time as well and expected to receive a product like the one pictured – and based on her reviews that is what would happen! Since it didn’t, and sometimes in any kind of purchases it doesn’t, work out. I had zero expectation of this seller to be such a defensive, unhelpful business person. Guess I’m the one that got unlucky! Yours look great – I hope your wedding is great too!
