So just the labels need to be changed, or what exactly …. the post is kind of confusing..

oh boy, it sounds like he was really trying to be helpful   Foot in mouth

i am almost tempted to suggest that you do them over, but dont tell him….. but that’s not an ideal solution. just one that might avoid hurt feelings.

or you can just use them – but just to clarify, do you mean he addressed the envelopes?  if so, i don’t think its that a big deal……if its the actual  invite that he just decided to design and make himself, i would be upset.

@Irishb: I doubt it looks as bad as you think.  We used the font “calibri” and that’s not much better…. not fancy at all…. I wanted people to be able to read them.  No one cares about labels 🙂

@Irishb: Actually, that’s not too bad :). I actually had one returned because the mailman couldn’t read my handwriting Embarassed.

If you want to make the envelopes cuter, try using an adorable rubber stamp to put a design on the front.

@Irishb:  You’re welcome.  It’s totally up to you, but I think labels aren’t a big deal.  No one keeps the envelope anyway 🙂

It is no big deal. No one cares what font the envelope labels are, what font was on the label of the last wedding invite you got? I am fairly certain you don’t remember and no one else will.

@Irishb:  aww, i think you should stick with what you think is best and dont hurt his feelings.  i think very few brides would have this “problem” with their Fiance and wedding planning. its like the cutest thing that he wanted to help and was excited to show you!

I would just leave it!  No one will care what font their envelopes are in…and it will save you tons of time.

Aww I would keep it. Sometimes we get caught up in the details but I’m sure Times New Roman looks fine! Yay for a helpful fiance!
