Hello ladies! Need your help please…this is our venue (Carlisle Ribbon Mill)
This is the bar/cocktail lounge…no clue if we are going to set this area up
And the door that connects the two!
Now here is what we have so far…each square in 2 feet so the venue is relatively large although in person doesn’t feel that way. We are doing a plated dinner so no buffet tables…just not sure how to make the dance floor side look more full. (Sorry the photo isn’t the best)
Any tips? Thanks in advance!

My suggestions depend on how much you are willing to spend.
A low cost option would be renting a few couches from a local furniture company for the lounge area. This will provide seating for guests during cocktail hour and fill the space more than just a few high top tables would. Guests could also utilize it during the reception if they wanted to chill out for a few.
Another low cost option would be to construct a backdrop style photobooth. This would provide good entertainment for guests as well. I’ve seen tutorials here on the bee on how to use PVC pipes draped with cloth to make the backdrop and then have a digital camera set up on a tripod. Perhaps you have a friend or cousin who can man it for you. Could be fun and give you some good souvenirs!
If you aren’t worried about budget, I would hire a photobooth as well as a large dance floor. You could also decorate the empty spaces with florals, do a big candy table, etc to take up the gaps.

We are having a photo booth and i could not be more excited about it! make sure you research the one you want though-sometimes they trick you at wedding shows and show up with a compltely different (smaller) booth.
