Check Nordstroms, Macy’s and Dillards. Not sure if you’ll find something within that budget, but it’s worth looking into 🙂 Good luck!

futuremrsJR:  I also like that look so I was looking for dresses like that, but long. My bridesmaids are picking their own dresses and I don’t think they’re going to go that direction anymore, but I was recently looking at ModCloth for a wedding guesst dress for another wedding and there were a couple that might work for you.

My bridesmaid dresses are from lord and taylor. If you open up a credit card and then buy them all on that day, you get additional 15% off your entire order.  They also have a 90 day return policy so you can order extra sizes for the girls to try on.  I got the badgley mischka blush sequin tank gown but they don’t have that dress anymore.

futuremrsJR:  No, I keep meaning to but then I keep thinking about better things I could do with $30-$40.  It is my #1 idea for my bridesmaids, as they’re all broke.

What I might do is either a) rent it once a couple months before to be able to see the dress in person and get a feel for their reliability or b) rent it for 8 days rather than 4, so you can expect it to arrive way early.  Everything I’ve read about their customer service says they’re fantastic.  I’ve never read someone not getting their dress and I’ve even read about people calling the day before an event, after just having recieved the dress, and complaining it’s torn or something and renttherunway shipping them a replacement overnight.

Mrsmello2015:  We did look at some on rent the runway that I loved, but my one Bridesmaid or Best Man (I only have 2 and then a Man of Honor) was concerned that it wouldn’t fit right because she has a short torso or something (which is another story in and of itself). I’m letting them pick their own dress, as long as it’s within a color pallete, so I think they will probably buy dresses they really like that they can wear again. They do have beautiful stuff on there though!

futuremrsJR:  Sohogirl.com has them for like $44 long sequin dresses. I believe their exactly what you’re looking for.

futuremrsJR:  I actually just rented a similar Badgley Mischka from RTR and it could not have been easier. They even sent me an additional size in under 24 hours when I felt that the ones I ordered weren’t right. And how often do you get to wear a designer dress? Highly recommend.

Eeeeks! Another September 2015 bride who has her bridemaids wearing knee length sequins/metallic mismatched gold Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses????? I’ve found a twin! 🙂 HAH! Although I’m letting my BMs pick in the range of warm metallics at this point (bronze, copper, rose gold, gold, etc.)

AND YES! I thought it would be easy for my EIGHT bridemaids to find such dresses……QUITE the opposite without them looking like they ready to hit the clubs. Sigh! The quest continues! The Rent the Runway looks like a GREAT option though! Maybe I’ll need to let my own BMs know about this as some are starting to worry about not being able to find one in time.
