This is my first post! I’m recently engaged and starting my venue hunt. Here are the specs:
– ceremony and reception in the same place
– approx. 100-120 people
– Brooklyn or Northern/Central New Jersey
– under $100pp
Really, as inexpensive as I can get without being awful… there’s not a lot of money to go around. I would love a restaurant with a ceremony space, like reBar, which is one option already on the consideration list. My best friend did hers at the New Leaf Restaurant, but she only had 30 people, and I’d love something like that but expanded to my already burgeoning guest list. Help fellow bees!

I don’t know about thier pricing but have you looked at Bubby’s? What did you think of New Leaf?

I’m not sure about their pricing, but another place to consider is MyMoon.

@Ms. Blue: New Leaf was absolutely beautiful, but wouldn’t fit the number of guests I’m planning for. However, if you’re thinking of something small in the 30-50 range, I do recommend the venue. It’s absolutely gorgeous, the food was amazing, and the staff was completely on point even when things went wrong — one of the tall vases at the altar got knocked off and shattered, and they had a replacement so fast the bride didn’t notice :D.

Here are some North Jersey ones. Dont know the pricing for any of them, sorry….Skylands in Ringwood, The Conservatory at the Madison Hotel, Nanina’s in the Park, Pleasantdale Chateau and Conference Center, The Venetian Florentine Gardens in Rivervale, and Liberty House in Liberty Sate Park.

Sorry this is a little late, but I’m having my wedding @ The Architects Club in Lopatcong, NJ. (really, Phillipsburg) Its on the PA border. I think price’s start at $95/person depending on how much food you want. I love the facility, they’ve got two floors, a tented patio, and a smaller side patio for a ceremony. Good luck if you haven’t found something already!
