When I recieved my BN ring, it came with a package that included a full receipt with details, a common Blue Nile FAQ brochure (which talks about maintainng your ring and cleaning & warranty, a ring sizer (incase the ring doesnt fit, you can send it back and they will resize for free), a 2 copies of the appraisal so you are able to get it insureed ASAP! As long as you keep the order number and appraisal around for self reference you are able to send in your ring anytime to get serviced and fixed!

@bribar00:  This is very useful. Does the “lifetime waranty” come with any caveats, such as having to send the ring in every 6 months for a check-up? I wish they laid out the details of the warranty on their website so that people could read the fine print before taking the plunge. It seems kind of fishy, but everyone raves about BN so I want to be a believer.
