I don’t know what to do! My Future Brother-In-Law is trying to take over my wedding. My fiance and I were just minding our own business one night, when he posts of FB that he’s just saved us money, your welcome, and informs us that he had become an ordained minister online. My fiance just laughed about it, and I have to admit that it would be kind of funny.. if not for the fact that he is completely serious about it. He seriously thinks that he’s going to officiate our wedding.
I’ve tried to tell him no, and that his only job that day is to be my fiance’s best man, but he just laughs it off and says that he can do both and how he already has it all figured out! I’ve talked to my fiance and told him that he needs to talk to his brother about this – needs to tell him “no” (because we both think that it’s a horrible idea), but he keeps putting off the conversation and telling me that he’ll deal with it later.
I’m just so unsure of how to handle this, and I’m afraid that my fiance won’t. I’m really worried that this will go too far. I feel like it already has! I mean, how could he just spring that on us? And on Facebook, no less.. What should I do?
