@andylynnb:  I have a question. Why does she not like you? I knwo that might be prying too much but it seems a bit extreme for someone to threaten your life, and furthermore for the family to just kind of be like “eh whatever”. what is the reason for all the animosity? there has to be a reason behind how she feels. Not saying it makes her any less of a beast but im curious as to why his brother or your Fiance have not done more to put a stop to her behavior prior to the wedding situation coming up.

Could you imagine attending all the family events down the line and listen to her throw in how you didnt invite her to your wedding?

@andylynnb: And you shouldnt put up with it. It going to come down to how much crap you are willing to put up with because if her jealously is causing the crazy to come out, the wedding will make it worse. I sincerely think you need to stop all this non-sense now. Either she apologizes and you kiss and make up (yeah, wont happen) or she doesnt come and is cut-off from here on out. If you in-laws have a fit remind that your life was threatened. Even if it was am empty threat that is unacceptable and Future Sister-In-Law knows this. And really, how can anyone argue that you should invite this woman to your wedding??

If it would make you feel any better, do you have a close friend or family member who could be on Future Sister-In-Law patrol, and calm her down if she starts causing trouble?

@andylynnb:  Ok then she is just bat shit crazy. He’s an uncle for crying out loud and it sounds to me like he did what he could to be a good uncle. She’s being ridiculous. I would still say though that its up to your FI’s brother t handle her directly. It should have been handled a long time ago.

I’m sorry but you must invite her; just think of what would happen if she was not invited. Way worse. Just ignore her on your special day.

We have a semi-similar issue. Have a narcissitic/histrionic sister in law, that no one wants to be around. Decided on a 21+ wedding, so they will either have to travel and attend without their precious snowflakes (including 1 child I’ve never even met), or not attend. We’re all hoping they take the stand to boycott.

By The Way, threatening your life is a criminal act. Shouldn’t you have followed through with law enforcement?
