@Amay5:  I personally think it looks perfect. It looks very beautiful on your hand. Mine is a .62 round in a cushion halo and the band is the same width as yours. It’s perfect for everyday wear. I’m really confused on how you think that’s a thick band and a clunker.

While reading I was expecting some big clunky god awful ring… IT’S AMAZING! it’s probably a touch unfomfortable cause you have diamonds rubbing on the sides of your fingers.

It looks awesome and it looks strong, and would leave it as is…. .BUT….. you have to be 100% happy with it so you will need to figure out what you think will look the best and that you will love…. I mean you literally shouldn’t be bursting into tears (unless they a joyful ones) when it comes to your engagement ring.

I don’t think it’s clunky at all. I thought you were posting about the band being too narrow. It’s a beautiful ring.

@Amay5:  I tried to post it but for some reason it didn’t go through. I’ll try it again.

It looks like a thin band to me (I can’t imagine going thinner) and looks beautifully proprotioned to your hand and the center stone. I would describe it as delicate, not clunky. That said, it doesn’t matter what I think–you have to be happy wearing it.

@Amay5:  You are right! AND…… everyone will feel differently, I think you need to do what will make you most happy, and at this point it would be going with a thinner band, you did state they would cover it even without the 6 month check ups, so I say if that’s what will make you happiest then do it, just be prepared that stones might fall out more often/easily the thinner you go! If you are OK with that, I think you should totally do what you want. =)

@Amay5:  What a beautiful ring!

I think you made the right choice. It looks beautiful! I was expecting a chonky ring, but I think it is perfect for the stone and looks fantastic on your hand!

It looks beautiful and not clunky at all to me! I would be worried about the structural integrity by going thinner with a pave band.
