    I say first one. Carnations are great fillers and would look really nice! You could put a couple dahlias mixed in but don’t do orchids. In my opinion they are more tropical to me. That’s why i’m not using them either.

    I love the smaller candles floating above the greens on pic 3…really cool & unique. I’m not crazy about the large center jar though. Maybe you could do the smaller candles w/ a group of affordable in-season flowers in the middle. Also ask about renting mirrors to place the flowers on – that’ll reflect the candles and add some sparkle to the room : ) Good luck!

    I’d do something like the first one but with hydrangea. I personally feel that carnations always look a bit cheap and there are other flowers, like hydrangea, that are full and beautiful and just as cheap in terms of cost but look more luxurious. Some people absolutely love carnations though, so if that’s you, then go for the carnations.

    We did a monochromatic tablescape and it was beautiful. I love tablescapes.

    ETA: looking at the picture, I’m not sure those aren’t hydrangea anyway, but I assumed carnations because a PP did.
