Lala21: Just thinking of you & wondering if you got your ring back yet?? Mine is at the jewelers being re-set (long story). I haven’t had my ring for over a week now & living vicariously through others right now. ….lol :-p

! Sorry for taking so long to reply. It has been a lot of drama with this ring omg. So i had the custom ering made and I just did not like it at all, we had been going back and forth with the jeweler. This was the third time he made the ring and it was not coming out the way I wanted it. I was unhappy with how the setting turned out. We were at the point where we just wanted our money back. The jeweler worked with us and we decided to go with a different setting. Here is the new setting not set yet, we just got all the problems worked out with the jeweler. I’m happy with my new setting now. I will post more pics once it is set.

Lala21: Wow! Your new setting is gorgeous! It looks beautiful on you, too. I think the halo picture was also beautiful, but somehow this setting seems (to me) like it really lets your outstanding center stone stand out. I love how the stones on the band are such a great size to complement your center, too. It sounds like your custom ring journey has been a bit frustrating, but I’m super excited and happy for you that you were able to find something you love.

longtimemrs: thank you so much!! Yes it was real frustrating but I’m glad we came to a resolution with the jeweler and found a setting I’m happy with.

Great to see you back Lala21! I can TOTALLY relate to the jeweler not getting things right, UGH! Since you originally posted I had my halo Re-done (long story), but I ended up going with smaller halo stones (.01) & was without my ring for 6 weeks…..anyhow, back to your ring

Looks great! I love solitaires, especially ones as large as yours!! Definitely post more pics when you get them!

GucciGirl13: thanks! I hope your halo turned out the way you wanted it. You got to post some pics. I still love halo rings and it was a battle to chose to go to a solitaire style but I feel that I’m more happier with this style, the halo rings that were made just didn’t look right to me. I’m just so glad all the drama is over, since there were so many issues the jeweler said I can come and exchange my setting anytime and as many times as I want to 😁 he said he just wanted to see me happy. They were so nice about it.
