I may be reading too much into it, But my gf is married and she is not separated only because she has young children with her husband. She has not worn her wedding ring for a very long time now ( over a year) and is making plans to move into a condo as soon as the kids are old enough. SO I kinda do not want to address the invite to Mr and Mrs. ______…What are my options here?
I have no idea if they will come together but don’t want to be rude and not put his name on the invite ( I am giving her 2 seats one for them both.
suggestions please thanks!

I think you should put Mr John Doe and Mrs. Jane Doe. Technically she’s still married, so really you’re not doing anything wrong.
That or be less formal and say Ms. Jane Doe and guest (or Mr. John Doe)

maybe include their first names like Mrs. Anna and Mr. John ____ ? That way their names are a little more separate, but not blatantly separated??

Why not tell her you’re in the process of addressing the invites, and ask her how she’d prefer hers to be worded?
