Oh definitely cathedral or longer! Youre rocking the hell out of that dress!! 😍

I had a ball gown, here’s my dress and veil.

reems :  either length would work, because both will be longer than your dress. i had a chapel length train, with a cathedral length veil. no good pics, though, because i just got married 3 weeks ago and don’t have pro pics back yet from the photog. but here’s the sneak peak pic, fwiw

reems :  not really. or at least, it wasn’t anymore of a nuisance that the dress train was, lol (which was a bit of a nuisance walking around all day before the ceremony, but i didn’t give a second thought to during the ceremony). i wore my veil all afternoon (first look, all photos, etc). and for the ceremony. took it off post-ceremony for the cocktail hour and reception.

I had a ballgown but chose a veil that was elbow length which was where my dropped waist finished. I’m also short so didn’t want to be overwhelmed in mountains of fabric although I kinda was with my dress =P

I went super classic with my bridal look… There was a lot going on with the skirt of my dress so I didn’t want even more fabric on it. Worked well for me 🙂 try a few on bee and see what you like. I got a ribbon edge sewn onto the bottom of mine to match my gown. And I think it came together really well.

reems :  thank you so much! ❤️

Honestly, it was a cheap veil from amazon!

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01GWZQ1BS/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1499922726&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=ivory+veil&dpPl=1&dpID=51jI7OuIp5L&ref=plSrch

I spent so much on my dress I had to cut back on accessories. Haha.

But since it’s rather inexpensive I’m going to cut it up and make it into a wreath with my bouquet flowers ☺️

Heres a slightly better picture of it:

I vote cathedral! I’m biased because I am wearing a tulle ball gown too (lace bodice) and the designer made a matching cathedral length veil with lace trim. I plan to wear it during the ceremony and our pro posed pics and then switch to a short veil for the reception.

I’m not married yet, so I don’t have pictures, but I highly suggest actually trying veils on with your dress.  You may think that you want one thing, but once you have it on, you may completely change your mind.
