- Wedding: April 2013
Okay I know some of you ladies have the nice little wedding planners you may have picked up from the bridal salon or a local bridal show. So yes, Fiance and I have had one since… Oct. 2011. But things are constantly changing and I can’t keep up with the change. First we thought having no more than 100 guests would be nice… reasonable. So we made the list (its just close friends and family) and got approx 72 ppl (including children). But then the list starting growing when we announced our engagement, family of our other family members wanted to come and before we knew it, we started estimating about 120 ppl coming! Okay that would have been fine but due to some recent changes in our life, we’ve had to cut the budget and guest list, now only allowing no more than 50 guests to come (children may not be included now due to the cut). How did/would you handle telling your family they aren’t invited? We both have huge families. I actually decided to have the wedding about 2 hrs away from us and on a sunday just to kind of make it a bit more inconvient. Am I wrong for this? Thanks for your kind suggestions!
