I would do a test part on one of them and see.. maybe on the inside of the foot so that if it doesn’t work it doesn’t show on your wedding day. then you will know if you want to paint them or not.. for the paint if you do choose to paint them i would use acrylic. thats hard because you don’t want it to peel.

There are several shoe dyes out there, Tarrago is the one that I hear is great (I’m ordering it).  I started putting pink crystals onto my nude shoes and YES I could see the shoes underneath.  It bugged the crap out of me to see the shoe leather between the crystals (since the shoe and the stones aren’t an exact match). 

I am now going to remove the crystals and dye the shoes. My friends say I’m crazy and no one will be that close to the shoes-But I’ll KNOW.  I used varying sizes from ss5-ss14 to get really close to one another without a uniform look (I didn’t want it to look like rows of corn).  The best shoes I have seen have the base of the shoe that compliments the stone-and then it won’t bug you to see.

I think they look cute.. you have to be happy with them. as long as you are happy then that is what matters =]
