I have no idea how it happened, but when I took my veil out of it’s garmet bag there was a small purplish stain near the top. It is very small but visible. I’m always very careful and wash my hands before I touch anything related to the wedding, so I have no idea how it happened! I’m pretty sure I would have noticed it if it was there upon arrival. Regardless, I am wondering if anyone knows a good way to get the stain out? I’ve heard different things like club soda/baking soda, has anyone had success with these methods? I don’t want it to ruin or discolor the veil. It is made of regular bridal tulle, its not silk or english net or anything, and it’s ivory if that matters.

I have an etsy veil shop so I may be able to help you.
What color is the veil and is there any lace or embellishment (beading, lace, etc.)?

Try using Mama’s Miracle Linen Soak, which is a very gentle stain remover made especially for vintage and fine linens. It soaks away new or set-in stains (also the yellowing and brownish stains that come from age). It also restores textiles to their original whiteness without damaging delicate fibers. You can buy it on Amazon or on http://www.mamasmiracle.com.
