I’m looking for my dream dress form Pronovias or La Sposa 2007 collection. I found a used one in Poland but I’m afraid of it’s a replica. It’s Euro 700. No receipt. Owner said it’s made in China?! Any suggestions? How can I verify the authenticity? I noticed there is a code on wash label, what is it for? Thanks!

Do you have photos of the dress? You could contact the customer service of Pronovias and ask if they can try to verify the dress from the photos and check the code. I did that with a used Monique Lhuillier gown i found on Ebay. It looked damn authentic, and the seller said she had the original receipt but she would blur her personal information on it and tried to find flimsy excuses for not giving me the tax receipt. This was very suspicious to me because if i bought the dress i would have her name and adress anyway. So like i said i contacted the customer service and they could not authenticate the dress. Be careful spending so much money if you’re not 100% sure it’s an authentic gown. Don’t buy it If you have a bad feeling about it.

@im.mrs.T: You might also check the Bee classifieds or check out the bee threads to see who might have a dress that you like and be willing to sell it. I know after my June wedding, I’m selling my Pronovias Gaudi, and I am sure others are planning on selling their Pronovias and La Sposas as well. I think Usuki has a great idea though about checking with the CS staff of either brand and asking them about ways to verify it. Good luck!

Hi I have one that I bought on Ebay right from the company shipped from Spain that I am looking to sell – it is brand new – it is called GABY – I can get some pics of it – there is also a website that has great pics too. It is a sz 12 – would that possibly work? It is gorgeous!

I don’t know if this helps, but Pronovias/La Sposa are made in China.
