Mrs_PinkHerman:  Dubsdread is on my list of places to check out! Do you mind me asking more details about your budget and what was included at the venue?

I recently stayed at Tropical Palms Resort on vacation and they do weddings. They have indoor and outdoor venues, plus cabins for lodging. It was also really close to Old Towne (I think that was it) which would be cute for pictures.

I don’t know if you could do $5000 for 200 people, that’s pretty tight but maybe you could make it work! There is a list of FL wedding venues here that allow for outside caterers, and they are under $3500 I believe http://new.bestmiamiweddings.com/venue-type/budget-wedding-venues/. Personally I think the Club of Knights is gorgeous, maybe a little outside your area but they seat up to 400 and also have a outdoor courtyard!

Mrs_PinkHerman :   Hello, i just came across this post and wanted to know more about your wedding at dubsroom ballroom and how you managed to stay below $10k. I am looking into the Dubsroom ballroom but found that their catering options are pretty expensive.
