I am getting married at Dubsdread in May. AMAZING venue!!!

I recently stayed at Tropical Palms Resort on vacation and they do weddings. They have indoor and outdoor venues, plus cabins for lodging. It was also really close to Old Towne (I think that was it) which would be cute for pictures.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I am definetly looking into this venue! Does it come with the drapping on the ceiling?

yes it did when we got married there.

can you please tell me how you were able to stay under that budget with that venue and catering?

I don’t know if you could do $5000 for 200 people, that’s pretty tight but maybe you could make it work! There is a list of FL wedding venues here that allow for outside caterers, and they are under $3500 I believe http://new.bestmiamiweddings.com/venue-type/budget-wedding-venues/. Personally I think the Club of Knights is gorgeous, maybe a little outside your area but they seat up to 400 and also have a outdoor courtyard!

Hello, i just came across this post and wanted to know more about your wedding at dubsroom ballroom and how you managed to stay below $10k. I am looking into the Dubsroom ballroom but found that their catering options are pretty expensive.
