I recently bought my dress ( Maura from Maggie Sottero)
I must admit not only was finding the right dress an overwhelming experience but finding the right veil was just as bad lol
I have always wanted a long cathedral veil (Mantilla) for the church however I also wanted a Fingertip Mantilla veil for the reception! I couldn’t find one that had both options?? Could this be?
long story short I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted so I got 2 veils! Yup I said it 2
One for church and another for the reception lol
I plan to change my veil right after the church so it’s easier to move and dance! What do you think??? Has anyone done the same?
only problem, I’m worried that ill mess up my hair once I change it lol any thoughts?
HELP! my dress & sneak peak of my veil below
By The Way that is not the Maura gown its actually the “Tracey” a very close runner up… i loved the veil soooooooooooo much thank god it worked with the Maura toooo..

@gio: I LOVE your cathedral-length veil! Gorgeous! I wore my cathedral-length veil throughout the entire reception, because it had a bustle (one snap, strategically placed) that made it much shorter. Perhaps you could see if that is a possibility for yours, and then maybe you could sell the other one or possibly return it (if it wasn’t custom ordered for you.)

I think it should be fine.
I have a cathedral length veil that I plan on only wearing to the ceremony and I will take it out and put a flower in for the reception, but keep my hair the same and my hairdresser said my hair will be fine.
How are you wearing your hair? Do you have good bridesmaids that could help fix it up if something does happen? But i’m sure your hair will be fine!
