nicole31016:  Do you have colors or a theme or a style in mind?

Michael’s has lots of do it yourself invites too. You buy them, download the template and print them at home. I almost bought a very pretty cherry blossom package 😊

wvkc:  I second this! We’re going with paperless post for (paper) Save-The-Date Cards and invites. Minted.com also has some nice designs.

I went to an office supply store (I forget whether it was Office Depot or Staples), bought printable invitation kits, downloaded the template, and designed my own! Ended up saving a ton of money and being happier with the result than I would have with other invites.

nicole31016:  If it’s in your budget, I reccomend going to a local invitation boutique. I couldn’t find anything I loved, until I went to one – and was able to look at a million different options with someone who actually knew what they were doing. Our invitation suite was relatively pricey – about $1200 for 100 invites, but the advice and guidance we received was well worth it. Here’s a picture of our invite:

How about designing your own? I’m designing my own to save money and will have them printed on zazzle or vista.
