I love the first one but not because it fits you better or is tighter. I really dislike tight clothing and don’t automatically think that it makes a figure look better like most Western women do, but IMO it’s the geometric lines that are mainly responsible for accentuating your figure in that dress, which is why No1 has that “wow” factor. I also disagree that No2 is more elegant. The fact that No1 is lace, and a really unusual lace at that, makes No1 much more elegant than No2, in my eyes at least. Silk charmeuse is my favourite fabric but I’m a HUGE fan of lace and I think the first has a very Edwardian style of elegance while No2, while also beautiful, is much more modern looking, and therefore not as unusual. But full disclosure I make lace in my spare time, and the way my aesthetic preferences lie, I should have been born in the Georgian/Victorian era, so my opinion is definitely biased! Also I think you’ll be a STUNNING bride no matter which dress you pick.

I voted for the first dress because I don’t think that the second one did much for you. It looks like you have an amazing body and it did not do much to accentuate it. I don’t think you need to be all va-va-voom, but it just didn’t flatter what you have.

That being said, I originally liked the column style dress in that same fabric as #1 and you are right, it did not photograph well when I looked at other brides in it.

I personally think you could look a bit more and get a dress that flatters your body and will look good in photos. Though #1 looks great on you, I’d be bummed if I was unhappy with how my dress looked in the photos.

I voted for the second dress, but I may be biased since I’m considering a similar style of dress for myself! Honestly, both look great on you, but I’m still throwing my chips in for dress 2.

Would you be willing to share the designer of it?

lunaman:  awesome! I’m going rosegold. Ivory is gorgeous too! The lace pops out so much on ivory and rosegold 🙂
