Hello all! This is my first post and I need some advice I’ve been looking online at money boxes (aka wedding gift card holders) and I’ve found two I really like here:
I want something with a large, decorative monogram and both of these boxes really fit the bill! They can also be customized in your choice of colors, as well as the number of tiers. (I’ll be ordering mine in black and white with two tiers.)
So…Which one ladies? I need help! You have to imagine them both in black and white with the two tiers high, but you can see how beautiful the hand painted monograms are! I can hardly wait for my wedding day to use it!!!
(Maybe i should just order one of each- One for my shower and one for the big day! )
Any thoughts would be highly appreciated!

My favorite is the round one because I don’t the the square one will be a pretty with two tiers.

I like the monogram on the square on better. I wish we could see the square one with two tiers for a full comparison. I do think two tiers is the way to go as far as cards dropping easy. I really want to vote for the square one, I do like it better, I just am not sure how it will look with both tiers.

You could just make your own instead of paying $50 for each box…..

Thank you all for your wonderful input! And sorry for the late reply(so much to do so little time
I think going with the two tiers definately makes more sense, it’ll help the card drop better, plus that extra height will add a little more dimension and drama to the piece. I’m still not sure about the square versus round though…
But I do know this, as far as making my own goes…I don’t think that would work for me….(I’m the kind of person that glued myself to the popsicle stick picture frame project in elementary school, lol ) Plus, for the money I think it’s a great investment, especially since there’s already sooo many other things to worry about. And after the wedding maybe I could use it as a keepsake holder or something.
Anyways, the website has a bunch of other really beautiful money boxes too,
( http://www.allgiftsandweddings.com/cgi-bin/dept?dpt=W&srch=DW&tier2=90 ),
Plus there’s something about that “hand painted” look I just love!. Here’s another one I was considering as well, with two tiers of course.
The monogram is 3 letters instead of one, and much simpler in style, but still really pretty. Note quite sure how this would work with my color scheme, but I’m sure I could figure something out. That band of flowers adds such a modern, but still classic twist, I can’t imagine how this wouldn’t look amazing!

Gosh they are both lovely. I guess I would say the box, but keep it one tier. the one that looks like a cake can’t be used after the wedding really. You could but the box shape is more practical to use afterwards.
Also, people might think the cake shape is the cake. I don’t know.
THey are both lovely but I am leaning more toward the box

…..I thought the cost at All Gifts and Weddings is reasonable if you compare them to other sites that are charging $100 and $120 (like on Etsy)…..
