Is the second one more unique? Yes it is. Is it more gardeny? Not really. Is it more whimsical/flowy? Yes.
The first one is safer, more people will like it. The second one is more dramatic and memorable. I think when the second one is fitted to you it will lay better. PP’s are right that the first does compliment your figure.
I think you have to decide whether you want to look pretty and get a lot of compliments or look unique and ethereal and maybe have some people who really don’t like your dress.

I like the first one much better too – and I do think it’ll fit with your wedding, FWIW!
But let me ask you this – which one is more comfortable? You’re going to be wearing it the whole day.

I like the lacey one WAY better

Go with the one you like! It is more unique than the other one. The first one is pretty but I see dresses like that all the time. I think some people are saying the first 1 is more flattering, but you wrote that #2 was too small. Your actual size would fit better! If you have your heart set on the 2nd one, do it! People have different taste and no matter what you pick, someone isn’t going to like it. Just like some woman hate lace and some woman hate pick-ups, etc. I just don’t want you to regret not getting the one you like!

#1 is stunning and a “wow” dress on you.

I accidenlty clicked the lighter one but I like the first one better because it’s more romantic and glamorous.

I love the concept of dress #2 and think you look beautiful in it, but I think in the long run you’ll feel self conscious about the mid section of it. Dress #1 is a sure bet!

thank you so much for voting for the dresses.
Heres what i did:
I went back to the Bridalstore and i tryd it again but this time the lady from the store left the zipper open and what can i say the middle-part-problem was gone and in this second i knew i will take it and thats what i did.
The thing is lets be honest the first dress is more figure flattering it realy is but its not my dress. And the thing is a. the 2nd dress was realy to small so it realy looked like i have a big belly and b. there was way to much fabric because it was to long so the fabric was pushing and the big-belly-effect was even worse.
In fact when the zipper was open the dress just fell right and at this point it was not unflattering at all.
When i first started to look at weddingdresses i totaly wanted a lacy one like i bought but when i tryd it on this feeling that everybody talks about i mean the feeling that this is the dress didn´t appear. So i went to a Bridalshop and found the second dress and just fell in love.
The friend that was with me in that shop told me i should burn this picture that i posted from the dress because it realy doesn´t show the reality.
I totaly agree when i compare the pictures i think the same as all of you and that is that the lacy one is way better not a little better i mean way way better. And yes if the middle-part-problem has not been solved i wouldn´t have taken the dress but it has.
During this process i learned something very important and that is – its all about that special feeling. In the beginning i thougt this story about that This-is-my-dress-feeling was just a story but now i know that this feeling realy is a very important because i realy had this moment when i had a bad feeling thinking about the moment when i walk down that aisle i mean i felt like i wanted to run in the opposite direction and now that i found my dress i cannot wait to walk down the aisle.
I feel relieved and thats all that matters 🙂
Oh by the way excuse my bad english but i writte you all from germany and hey speaking is much easier than writting 🙂

I think you made the right decision. I so wanted dress 2 to be my dress, but when I tried it on a second time, I realized just how problematic the train was. It kept bunching up and was impossible to walk in.
