I would only wear a long coat if it was well fitted and gave you a nice silhoutte.  You don’t want to look like a puffy marshmellow.

It’s Saturday night and your honey says… get dressed, we’re going out for drinks.  What do you wear?  That’s what I’d say you should wear for your epics.  Just a thought.

@SoontobeMsL: I’m going to be picking out my FI’s look for our e-pics too.

We’re doing our shots in October most likely, and I think I want to look nice but classic, i.e. solid colors, flattering clothes, nothing too bright or trendy.

I’m thinking a flattering black shirt, a nice part of jeans, and some cute shoes.

I would wear jeans, cute shoes and a sweater.  will it be too cold to go without a coat?  You can always just freeze while taking the photos and wear an ugly jacket while not shooting.  the life of a model is hard right??! lol

IMO, I would defninitely go for something simple. A nice black shirt would look good, & is it going to be cold or is it just going to feel good? You could always get a simple dress that’s either solid color or very simple with some flat shoes. I think the idea of engagement pictures is to get the two of you “as you are”. As in, comfortable, loving, like there’s not a care in the world and you’re just out enjoying yourself.

What would you normally wear on a Saturday? I would go with your normal attire, just perk it up a little bit. Hope I helped! And good luck!! 🙂

just be yourself…if youre trendy be trendy, but you dont want the pictures to look fake or forced.
