I have only tried wedding dresses on once… And the very of first one, I think is “the one”. But I am confused because I have another appt today and need to make a decision this toto so an unexpected time restraint. Do you think I should go to this other appt to confirm / deny m. feelings for the first dress? Or just go back an buy it? I love the way it made me feel, my bridesmaids love it, and my mom picked it out which is special to me. I just don’t want to buy the firt dress is the first salon I have ever been in and feel regret… But I am stressed by my new unepecited timeline, and feel worried about missing out on this dress…. I have been picturing it in my head and called it mine .. Which a Bridesmaid or Best Man pointed out to me.
Thank you all !

I’d suggest going to the other appointment – otherwise you may continue to wonder which you are already doing! Why do you need to feel rushed about the first dress??

@gm234: The other appointment is today? Go ahead and go, I can’t see how you’d miss out on the other dress if you head over there to buy it after the appointment. If you worry about feeling regret, why risk it? And post pics 🙂

@gm234: Definitely try it on again! It is totally fine if the first dress in the first store is the one! You just never know how it’s going to happen, and that’s how it happened for you.
I was in a similar situation when I bought a sample dress- I had a very short amount of time to decide because someone else could swoop in and buy it. I took a day to think about it and then that was it, I bought it! And that is okay!
And then when you are done do yourself a favor and DO NOT LOOK AT WEDDING DRESSES. There is always going to be a “better dress” out there, just as with everything in life. Don’t worry or wonder about it. In the end, you are going to look back and just be so happy you married your Fiance and you might barely even think about the dress years down the road.

Thanks for responding! I did go to the second appointment… and it was interesting… I found another dress that I really loved, and was actually more like my “Dream dress” than the first one I found; however, my mom and BM’s didn’t seem to love it, so it became a bit of an emotional experience, to say the least! I ended up going back to the first store, and tried on just the original dress. It was definitely the one and I bought it that day. I was excited to see it, try it on, and loved having it on. I felt confident and everyone reacted.. I forgot what the other dress looked like! I am so glad I did go to the second appointment though, because now I feel so confident.
