@anonymrs123:  Stranger things have certainly happened. It really doesn’t look like it freshly fell off a girl’s hand who was in your bedroom, in any case.

super old and gross looking – i’m sure it came from outside or something. I would be SHOCKED if it was someone your husband was cheating with (at least not recently!)

Just show it to him and be like ewww look what I found! His face (and reaction) will tell you everything you need to know…

@anonymrs123:  ah-ha… 11 year old so fits with this scenario.

And that would also explain why the nail is so dirty… it’s been hanging around “somewhere” since October, collecting dust and grime

Trust me, there are lots of stuff that can easily get missed hide out in one’s house for that amount of time or longer despite how great a housekeeper one is.

My bets are now totally on the child as the “missing link” on how this item came to be in your house (could have dropped off somewhere else inside and still be picked up by one of you and transported up to the bedroom)

I’m glad you spoke to him! That was a good move.

Just as a passing thought, it may have come in on a shoe, fallen off the shoe and then gotten reattatched to a sock.

Love the phone issue! That’s such a hilarious situation!

it easily could have been on a shoe, when you took your shoes off, your sock touched it and dragged it through the house.  if there is someone out there who was wearing that, in the state that it was in, i’d feel more sorry for the guy that screwed her than i would be angry! LOL

@anonymrs123:  LOL this is just the kind of thing that would happen to me. Oh my goodness I can imagine how relieved and silly you felt!

@Westwood:  Definitely agree that because of the dirt on it, it came from outside, and din’t pop off in the bedroom or something like that

@anonymrs123:  Wow. I think you’re making too big of a deal about a nail that probably came from the street. Maybe if you’d found a leopard print thong there’d be cause for concern, but I don’t think this should merit a second thought.

I’m glad you posted a pic. I say it came in from outside. It is sooooo gross, no way it could’ve fallen off someone who was in the house!
