tiffdodd:  The best way I know would be to call your local store. Thy can search by style, size, and color and tell you any nearby stores that have your dress. If you share the size you need maybe us bees can go on a scavenger hunt!

tiffdodd:  You could contact the sellers if you like and see what their refurn policy is like. Some people are flexible.

Call the store, any store and have them check out their data base, thy can see the entire USA inventory at once, have them check a few sizes. If that doesn’t work have them call the whearhouse and ask if there are any there. If not have them call a Canadian store and heck their inventory. I fin it very hard to believe that there are none left considering it was a very popular dress. My deam dress was also a db, from 2007, I bought it new from the store in 2012.

It wasn’t a wedding gown, but I had a size 12 gown altered to a size 0. It was expensive to do, but I really wanted the gown and it was the only size I could get. Maybe show pictures of this gown to a competent dressmaker and ask their opinion if they think they can alter that dress properly from say a size 14 to an 8 or so. A really good dressmaker can pretty much do anything, so it depends on if the extensive alterations are worth the money to you.
