Honestly I would avoid putting them in shirts that are orange or aqua… they will never wear them again.  I think you should have them each where a white shirt of their own pick.. and then get the groomsman matching ties that are as close in color to the bridesmaids as possible.  Then get an aqua tie for your groom so he stands out from the rest.

I think they have to wear what you tell them to wear : ) That’s pretty much the biggest rule of being in a wedding party!

I agree with Moose1209 on the white shirts.  Since they are doing suits instead of tuxes, you could also do something a little more casual like an Orange and Aqua/Turquoise Blue striped tie.  It would give a little extra interest and tie in your wedding colors.  🙂

Here’s a potential one that’s a bit less.  It is more of a light blue and orange than aqua but the blue stripes are skinny: http://www.cheap-neckties.com/mens-necktie-orange-light-blue-p-15787.html

Although really, I don’t think $30 for a tie is that bad.  For a wedding, you’re going to want a nice tie that will look nice, lay nice, etc.  In the realm of tie prices, $30 is pretty inexpensive.  Plus, you said its a great match for what you’re looking for and the groomsmen will be able to re-use it (it’s not like its a one-time purchase for them).  I’d vote to go for the $30 one you found!
