I have an idea…..and this is really easy and cheap. Those cylinder vases can still come in handy. Flowers are really expensive so how about this. I am attaching a picture of an arragement I made with Tissue pomadors. This is a very in-expensive option with a WOW factor. If you like thisidea, e-mail me and I will give you directions on how to make them.Way cheaper than flowers on every table so you just need flowers for you and your bridal party.

ps…these are very easy to make

I did not cut the edge’s like Marthat did. I left them alone.

The site above is the directions for making pom pom tissues. Make at least 3 for each arragement. You can buy the Tissue paper at Dollar tree (any color) so it is really an enexpensive way to go. Martha talks alittle about the wire you use to wrap around the accordian tissue so I used a wire roll from the craft store. (it’s just thin wire on a spool) I took Black ribbon that you use for balloon strings and attached it thru the wire letting it hang pretty long. You can curl it later if you want.

Then after the pom pom is made Thread a long wire thru the middle of the pom pom and put aside till you have 3 done. Then using a long stick (dowl) . (you can also by dowls at a craft store. You need one for every centerpiece) Attach the long wire around the stick. Attach all 3 pom pom’s (or you can combine the pom poms all at once then attach them to the stick! Whatever works easiet for you.)

Then WaLa…you have a centerpiece.

Then a few days before the wedding make the gel crystal  balls. You can buy the gel balls at:

http://www.decorativewatercrystals.com  You will LOVE these balls. And they are very cheap. One vase takes about 1 package of crystals.(no kidding, they swell up that much.)

Also in the picture (purple vase) I added feathers to the pom poms. This was easy. Just make everything and stick the feathers in the top! You don’t have to glue or anything.

If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me. But, be sure to say what arragement you are talking about. I have so many listed. I play around alot with making things!

Hope this is helpful! They really do look RICH ….when finished. People won’t believe how beautiful they are!

Little bud vases like those are $1-4 at places like Ikea, CB2, etc.  You can spray paint plain glass vases.  And Sam’s Club has orchids for under $2/stem.  They’re very rich looking because of the interesting shapes of the vases and the orchids, but not very expensive.

You could still do the tall vases like you wanted with the limbs.  Fill the vase about 1/3 full with glass beads (clear or in your wedding color) and stick the limbs in it.  To help ease the cost of beads down you could ball up plastic bags and cover them with the beads inside tha vase.  Another option is to put battery powered lights in with the glass beads and then you could run the lights up to the branches.  On the branches hang little note cards that have ice breaker questions on them or fun facts about the bride and groom.  This way the tables have something to talk about and you center piece becomes interactive.  If you didn’t want to hang cards off the branches you could hang battery powered tea lights.  You can find the beads at the dollar store and go to a park and get branches or ask a lawn care service in you area if you can dig through there stuff to find some branches.  Here are some pics to give you a visual:
