I don’t want to bother with chair covers on the wedding day, and I usually don’t like how they look. I need some advice on how to jazz up these chairs in a really easy and low-cost way without using satin chair covers.
If I don’t change my mind again, our colors will be ivory, cream, gold, and black.
Here is a WeddingWire photo of the venue with the chairs out:

Hmm, yes they are very dark an do stick out quite a bit. No chair covers, huh? Maybe get some tulle and make sashes to tie around them? Then DIY some small flower thing (or even use some satiny bright-colored ribbon) to clasp/tie it together.

I wouldn’t worry too much about them. Once people are in the room, they’ll be sitting on them, putting their coats on them, etc. and people won’t even notice the chairs.

I agree about the sashes. You can either buy tulle, organza or taffeta and DIY, or you could buy them online. They are quite reasonably priced and will definitely add a lot to the overall look.

Yeah, I agree with the idea of chair sashes to soften the look of the room!

Should I put the sashes near the hole at the top or more around the middle?

I don’t mind the chairs too much. Maybe if you get a colored tablecloth it will make the contrast between the tables and chairs not soo stark? I dislike white table cloths.
