It looks beautiful on you!  Please don’t worry about what your Fiance is saying, he will be blown away when he sees you in this, he hasn’t and can’t see just how gorgeous you look or he would be ooohing and ahhhing that pic too.

My Fiance insisted that he didn’t like ball gowns and liked mermaids instead, then sent me a pic of a dress in a window he loved that was a ball gown.

Those dresses are too over the top for my tastes! But he is prob just dazzled by the glam. That doesnt mean anything! especially because it’s not you in the dress! He will forget those dresses when he sees how gorgeous his wife is on your weddin day! I love your dress

No your dress is totally gorgeous, when he sees it he’s going to love it. Dont torment yourself because he said other dresses were nice, it doesn’t mean he won’t love your dress. I’m sure we can all agree we can admire Matt Damon/Gerard butler/Brad Pitt, it doesn’t mean you don’t love your fiancé! ๐Ÿ˜‰

OMG your dress is beautiful!!! Just because you ooo and ahhh over the dress and amazing train Julie Andrews wore in Sound of Music (or maybe that’s just me lol) doesn’t mean you would actually want to wear it at your own wedding. You chose the dress that fits your personality, your style, and your body. It looks amazing, so rock your dress!!

Your dress is fab. Did you even try on big poofy ball gowns on? If yes well then it obviously didn’t make you feel great and if no, well then they never appealed in the first place. Are you wearing a veil? Carrying a bouquet?  When you’ve got all the bridal bits and pieces on you’ll look very wow-y and he’ll be delighted :). Seriously it’s a cracker of a dress and plenty going on.

I’m not sure why you’re saying you settled when that doesn’t sound like the issue at all…you said you loved the dress and just aren’t sure if your Fiance will love it too. As pp’s have said already, he’s going to think you’re gorgeous and he will love your dress. It’s all about the effect of being all done up that really gets the guys…I’d even say it doesn’t matter what the dress looks like because the overall look is what I see guys reacting to. Besides, your dress is gorgeous! I love the illusion top ๐Ÿ™‚

It is a beautiful dress, I wouldn’t regret it for a minute.

When your Fiance see’s you in your dress, his jaw will drop.

You look great in the dress!  And your fiance will be so overwhelmed when he sees you in it (and all done up with veil/bouquet/hair/makeup etc) that he won’t even remember watching SYTTD.  Definitely the right choice!
