Hey bees! I’m in need of a great idea!
My wedding is the day after my parents’ 27th anniversary…the rehearsal is the day of their anniversary. I’m wanting to honor them in some way (subtlely, without going over the top as it’s not “them”). They have been so supportive of me throughout my life and I definitely want to do something sweet for them. The rehearsal dinner will be fairly small (about 20 people) so I could do something simple then, but what? I am so not creative…please help!

Have a cake in the same flavor as their wedding? Or a print from their wedding with a space to put a picture of them together from your wedding.

Do their best man and maid of honor live nearby? You could invite them to join you.
One of the bees had her mother’s wedding dress altered and wore it to the rehearsal.
Have their weeding cake recreated and served for dessert.

I think the cake idea is great, get the same flavour or something like that. BUt – I think a really nice thing to do would be a nice toast/speech from you. Recognize their wonderful marriage and what they mean to you in a toast, let them know how you feel and how great they are. That’s not too over the top, and it recognizes them in a way that I think is most appropriate for the day before your wedding.
